Our History
In 2008, Senders Communications Group developed the first definitive guide to LA's union-made products and labor-friendly services called LA Labor 411. The one-stop print and online directory was full of preferred union vendors and was distributed free to thousands of local union offices, government agencies and progressive organizations across the greater Los Angeles area. The guide has since expanded to include directories in Philadelphia, San Francisco and Washington, D.C., as well as online at www.labor411.org.

BuyBlue Campaign
To appeal to a new, younger group of workers, the Foundation launched a “BuyBlue” campaign in 2016 to encourage consumers to shop ethically to support a stronger economy. By patronizing ethical businesses these ethical consumers can help create good middle class jobs with every dollar they spend.
"Economic inequality is the defining issue of our time. All Americans deserve a decent quality of life, which includes good jobs, a safe workplace, living wages and good benefits."— Cherri Senders, Founder and
Co-Chair, Labor 411 Foundation
